UNIVERSITY BLUES.

Test week is here and i am so not ready, but am on that chasing a Degree tip.. the way i'm seriously depending on energy drinks to get going, wont be surprised if i get addicted. Its three weeks since the university re-opened but the amount of work is already piled up,if its not assignments its tests #cantdeal.I wrote my 1st test today and it was long, couldn't finish it cos i ran out of time,am hoping for an 80%#lol,and because i was heartbroken ,i took it upon my self to research on "time management"the test was an eye opener,JUST realised that when writing one actually need to enter the venue at the required time and not wait outside for last minute reading even cramming,i remember in high school my teacher always said "what you do not know now, you will never know" its a pity i learned that the hard way.

tips on time management:

  1. Be Organized- know what assignment/test is due on which day and the time
  2.  Avoid Overload- despite your hectic schedule, find time to rest this include napping, eating and even watching t.v.
  3. Have a Vision- know what you want to achieve and be inspired to continue working hard towards achieving that goal.
  4. Keep healthy- make sure your diets includes fresh fruits and veggies and, sleep, eat and drink lots of water.
  5. Ask for advice- if you are not sure or don't understand of a certain module, don't be afraid to go to your lecture and ask for help.

Another alleged racist attack at UFS

Another alleged racist attack at UFS: The University of the Free State is again making headlines with reports of a racist attack at its main campus. just when we thought racism has been "dealt" with these two guys decided to take us back. i mean really we need to learn to get along or at least tolerate each other, we cant let "moments of fun" between friends ruin our future. i empathize with the victim , his dignity, he will be known as the guy who got ran over............... anyway i am glad the university was able to resolve this issue quickly, we can only hope other students will learn that this type of behavior has great consequences and remember that "CRIME DOES NOT PAY"
